FAQs

Q: What is the Supper Club?

A: The Supper Club at Capo is a 4,000sf subterranean lounge located next door to Capo Restaurant and below Citizen’s Bank. The Supper Club is accessible through a connecting staircase located in Capo’s dining room at 443 West Broadway. There is a private entrance located at 439 West Broadway which is available for private events only.

A: The Supper Club at Capo consists of a 40ft bar, a large performance stage, a stage-front dancefloor with two retro stage-side lounges.

 

Q: When is the Supper Club open?

A: The Supper Club is open with live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm-1am. Additionally, we are open every Monday from 7pm – til for our Monday Night Comedy series. We plan to offer additional programming in the future, so please follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay updated with everything Capo!

 

Q: When is the Supper Club available for private or semi-private events?

A: The Supper Club is available for booking private or semi-private events 7 days a week.

 

Q: What is the music like downstairs?

A: We feature a wide variety of live music from 8-11pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with a DJ from 11pm-1am. Please see our calendar of events on our website for details on specific dates.

 

Q: Can I bust a move?

A: We encourage it!

 

Q: So, how do I get downstairs?

A: Prior to 7:30pm, we have 10 stage-front tables and 8 high top tables that are available to reserve with access to our full dinner menu for groups of two – six people. Call the restaurant to reserve these areas at 617-993-8080.

A: For larger groups, we have limited space available to reserve in advance in our stage-side lounges or in our high-top tables. Please email jen@caposouthboston.com with any in inquiries. This is the only option to be included on a guest lists. All guest list customers must arrive before 9pm unless prior arrangements have been made.

A: When booking a dinner reservation in the restaurant upstairs, please state your intent to spend the evening with us in the Supper Club. Although this does not add you to a guest lists and we cannot guarantee admittance, dining guests will ALWAYS receive priority over walk in guests. We do our best to accommodate requests.

A: Once we are at capacity, we will happily take down your information and will contact you as soon as we can admit you to the Supper Club.

 

Q: Can I call ahead and be added to the waitlist?

A: Due to our limited capacity, we do not accept call ahead reservations. All group bookings must be done in advance by emailing jen@caposouthboston.com.

 

Q: How do I reserve space?

A: There are up to four available spaces that can be reserved within the Green Room and Night Owl Suite for a food and beverage minimum. These premium spaces provide guest list privileges, access to entertainment, reserved lounge seating, access to a stocked mini fridge and a designated cocktail waitress.   

A: For larger groups, we can reserve the entire Green Room or Night Owl Suite. Each space can accommodate up to 30 guests. There is a private bar available upon request in the Green Room.

 

Q: Can I order drinks from the menu upstairs?

A: The Supper Club offers its own, unique drink list. You are welcome to bring drinks downstairs with you from the restaurant or bars upstairs and vice versa.

 

Q: Can I order food from the dinner menu upstairs?

A: Due to the lounge style seating, we are only able to offer our full dinner menu Thursday, Friday, and Saturday  from 7pm until 8:30pm. Our limited Supper Club menu featuring appetizers, pizzas and small bites is available from 7pm-midnight Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

A: We do offer the full dinner menu during our Monday Night Comedy show, starting at 7pm until 10pm.

 

Q: Is there a dress code?

A: The dress code on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings is casual chic.

A:  NO sandals, athletic wear, baseball caps or sleeveless shirts (men) will be permitted in the Supper Club or the upstairs restaurant. Sneaker swagger is welcomed, but tennis shoes are not permitted.

A: Coat check is available for any baseball caps worn in to our restaurant. Please see a hostess to access the coat check.

 

Q: Is there a cover charge?

A: Monday Night Comedy tickets are $15 available at the door.

A: There is no cover charge for Thursday, Friday or Saturday night.

 

Q: Is there an age restriction to the Supper Club?

A: Although the restaurant is available to guests of all ages, the Supper Club at Capo is strictly 21+. Valid ID required.

A: We do not restrict ages for private events or buy-outs.

 

Q: Is parking available?

A: There is two-hour street parking until 6pm Monday through Saturday on West Broadway and in the public lot across the street. We encourage using a ride share program such as Uber or Lyft to avoid any frustrations with street parking and to ensure safe travel.

 

Q: What form of identification do you accept?

A: We only accept valid Passports and/or Passport Cards, United States issued Driver Licenses, Military IDs, and Massachusetts Liquor ID cards. No other forms of identification will be accepted.
